3/24/2026 Caller states that he had an exterminator to his home today and when they used product it must have gotten into his oven vent. Caller states that prior to turning on oven there was no dust on his stove, however while pre-heating the oven dust appeared on the stove top. Caller states that as soon as he realized this he placed on a N95 mask. Caller states that he is experiencing mild throat irritation. Caller also mentioned a dog in home. 3/24/2026 Caller was transferred to consult on the potential exposure for his dog. Incident happened 1.5-2 hours prior to call, and oven was heated to 350-400 degree Fahrenheit before caller realized the dust was in the oven and turned it off. The dog is asymptomatic and no home treatment has been performed. 3/25/2026 Owner stating he just returned home from dinner and thinks his dog may have had a possible seizure about 30 minutes ago. The dog is now head bobbing and acting dazed and confused. Owner stated this happened a few months ago with no exposure to the product at that time. 3/27/2026 Callback to caller, who reports that he is doing well and his symptoms resolved. His dog was taken to the veterinarian who told him the seizure was due to another product exposure. She was given an unspecified medication and has not had any further symptoms. It is unclear if the dog was actually diagnosed with a seizure, or if that is just what caller is calling the symptoms. No further information is available.
The information contained in this report is based on self-reported statements provided to the registrant during telephone Interview(s).
