8/22/2025 All of the following was spontaneously reported by the caller. He used this product for approximately 10 years or longer, approximately 2 to 3 times a week for approximately 7 or 8 months a year. He mixed the product into his Backpack sprayer. He always wore gloves, a medical/surgical mask, and long sleeve shirts. He has his own landscaping service and had been doing this for over 25 to 30 years. He denies getting the product on his skin, in his eyes, mouth or inhaling it. He always wore personal protective equipment. He has been researching this product because he is suspicious that it is the cause of his chronic symptoms of dizziness, balance issues, and hallucinations. These symptoms have been ongoing and worsening for approximately 6 years. He went to the emergency room when these symptoms began sometime in September 2019 and has had ongoing medical issues and visits since. He was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease on November 17, 2024, after seeing a Neurologist and going through a test that involved flipping him upside down, as well as a light sensitivity test. He cannot recall the name of these tests. He is being treated with Carbidopa-levodopa for this condition. He quit his two jobs in November 2024. He has been ill, and unable to work. He is asking if this product may be the cause of his diagnosis. He has used other landscaping products and weed killers that he has purchased over the years at retail stores. 8/25/2025 Callback from caller asking to speak with a specific staff member. His symptoms are ongoing.
Majeure
Company correlation score: 1 (unlikely relationship). The Ranger Pro Herbicide contains Isopropylamine salt of glyphosate at 41% and a Surfactant blend (proprietary) >=5.0 a <=10.0. There was no known exposure reported to the product and personal protective equipment, including long sleeves, a mask and gloves were worn consistently during product use, making the chance of unknown exposure unlikely. Additionally, the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has concluded that the data does not support cause-and-effect relationship between exposure to glyphosate and Parkinsonas Disease.
