2024SCPC00082881- The reporter indicates exposures to a pesticide containing the active ingredient diquat and to a pesticide containing the active ingredients azoxystrobin, pydiflumetofen, and propiconazole. Approximately a year before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated their neighbor was applying the product containing diquat and the reporter had exposure. They indicated that they got very sick but did not clarify any of their symptoms following this exposure. Four weeks before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated their neighbor was applying the product containing azoxystrobin, pydiflumetofen, and propiconazole. The reporter stated that the product spray drifted to the reporter¿s property while the reporter was outside and the reporter had exposure. Within forty-eight hours they began to experience severe diarrhea which resolved approximately one week before the day of initial contact. Four weeks after the day of initial contact, the reporter stated they were having brain fog. Approximately a year after the day of initial contact, the reporter retroactively indicated they also experienced oily stool, sweating, joint pain, and vomiting following exposure but did not clarify the timeline for these symptoms. They also noted they had an MRI approximately ten months after the day of initial contact that showed build up of cerebral fluid and that their pituitary gland was flattened out, and they reported that they started lactating again but were not pregnant or breastfeeding. Approximately a year after the day of initial contact, the reporter also provided an update that they are continuing to have brain fog and have been experiencing migraines and memory fog, and that they have a black spot on their vision but did not clarify the timeline for these symptoms. The reporter was advised to continue to work with their health care provider for any additional concerns. The reporter stated that this information has been reported to the PMRA and Alberta Environment.
