10/20/2023 Caller is reporting inhalation exposure to the product that happened about 3 days ago approximately 10/17/2023 when he used the product. He has symptoms of nausea, feeling like he is going to vomit, dizziness, cough, and dry throat. He sprayed the product into a storage container as he has bed bugs. He stated he inhaled some of the product fumes but he did have the can about 3 feet away from him when he sprayed it. He could smell a strong scent of the product in his apartment. Immediately he felt a little dizzy, he got nauseated, he felt like he was going to throw up. He still is experiencing the nausea, he is still dizzy and feels like he is going to throw up, but it is better than the first day when he had the exposure. He started coughing the next day around 10/18/2023 after the exposure. His throat feels dry and that started a couple of days ago. He continues to cough and have a dry throat. He lives in a small apartment with no ventilation other than a small window. 10/23/2023 Attempted call back and spoke with caller. He is still coughing and he is still feeling weak, but better. He now has congestion or phlegm in his chest. He has not yet seen a doctor. 10/27/2023 Attempted call back. No answer. Left message with reason for call, and case and callback numbers. 10/27/2023 Callback from consumer. He still feels a little sick but much better than before. He just feels like his chest and lungs feel off but not as bad the initial exposure. He has not had a chance to make an appointment with his doctor. 10/30/2023 Follow up call placed to consumer. He reports that he feels almost 100% better. He did not see his doctor as advised but reports that he turned on fans and wore a mask in his home. He plans to see his doctor in the next 2 weeks or so. He stated that he has occasional shortness of breath but feels this is due to him smoking. He stated that he feels he caught a chest cold from running fans in his home.
