The pet owner took her cat outside on a harness on September 4th, 5th and 8th 2023. The cat may have eaten grass on the weekend of September 4th and the owner noticed the cat was shaking his head after drinking water. The pet owner saw the cat eat grass on September 8th. After coming inside on September 8th, the cat was franticly scratching at newspapers and exhibiting odd behavior. Approximately one hour later, the cat vomited white foam. At approximately 1AM, he was loud and vocal. On September 9th, 2023 at approximately 10:30am, the cat was lethargic/laying in shower floor, not wanting to eat and showing uncomfortable behaviour. At approximately 5:20am on September 10th, 2023, the cat vomited white liquid that seemed like curdled milk. He was unable to go to the litter box. Later that evening the pet owner noticed some respiratory issues and retching with no emesis. The cat vomited thick dark liquid at 10:40pm. At 10:55pm, the cats lips started turning blue. At 11:00pm, the cat started thrashing back and forth and the pet owner noticed that fur was falling out. At 11:15pm, the cat died at home. Her other cat was also in the grass but is asymptomatic.
