5/5/2023 Cat possibly ingested some of the ORTHO ANT B GON MAX ANT KILLER GRANULES after caller placed it in the yard on 5/2/23. The cat was seen in the treated area on 5/2/23 and possibly walked on the area and then possibly licked his paws after. Caller said that same night the cat was vomiting and having diarrhea. Caller took the cat to the vet on 5/3/23 and the cat was hospitalized. Caller says the vet had the cat on intravenous fluids and they completed Blood work. Caller says the cat is home now, but still not doing the best. Not appetant and possibly still has a fever. 5/9/2023 Follow up with owner. The cat is still at the emergency veterinarian, and it has been 5 days of hospitalization. The cat was in very serious condition and she feels that she is lucky that her cat pulled through. Caller is focused on how dangerous the product is and is not responding to questions on what symptoms developed and treatments. Caller recommended that this product be under lock and key at the store so consumers know how dangerous it is. No further information is available.
