On an unspecified date the product was applied along a fence line. On an unspecified date following product application, two dogs owned by a neighbor of the reporter are suspected to have ingested grass treated with the product. These two dogs developed clinical signs on an unspecified date; this dog died, the other dog developed bloody diarrhea and vomiting. No further information is available or expected.

This product has a wide margin of safety. Mild dermal and GI (as with any dietary indiscretion) irritation may occur exposure. Severe clinical signs and death are not expected with an exposure as described. Further information is required to assess any potential temporal relationships of exposure to the product and clinical signs. Necropsy may have been able to provide further information about the cause of clinical signs and death, but was not pursued. Other causes for this dog's death should be considered including other dietary indiscretion / toxic exposure, and underlying health conditions.
