7/3/2017 Caller states that product was applied twice. Product was used on 8/4/2015 to treat for roaches. Caller left for the day, and they were told to return to work the next day. After 45 minutes, caller developed a rash on her right leg and arm and also started coughing. One of caller's coworkers had an asthma attack. The employees were told to leave work. Caller went to the emergency room, and they were unsure what the problem was. Caller was given a rescue inhaler for treatment. Caller returned to work the next day, the symptoms returned, and caller went back to the emergency room. Caller was told her lungs were sensitive, and she was referred to her pulmonologist that she had seen for pneumonia earlier that year. Caller had been on antibiotics for several months at that time. On this visit, the pulmonologist said her lung function was worse, and she was treated with prednisone. Every time the dose was lowered, coughing and wheezing returned. Her doctor told her that the condition is chronic and he does not expect it to improve. He diagnosed caller with respiratory airway dysfunction. Caller reports that other employees also had problems, 20 employees were treated for coughing at the time of exposure, and 2 others have required extended treatment.
