19. Donner des renseignements additionnels ici
Reported lethargy and later reported weakness are an unspecific sign and may have multiple potential other causes in an animal. Urinary incontinence, subsequent reported collapse and death are not expected after appropriate product application as inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile. Product has wide margin of safety. The oral LD50 in rat is 642 mg/kg BW. 20-fold overdosage tolerated by dogs without showing any side effect. Animal involved in this case was geriatric. In case of suspected product involvement, adverse event would have been reported in close proximity and not long time after. Moreover, the intent of the call was to discuss the use of it on another pet and not to report the death of the dog. Previous exposure was well tolerated by animal. Though time to onset unknown and no necropsy was performed, considering known safety profile of the product, a product relation is unlikely.
