1-45979632 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated her cat was exposed to an insecticidal spot-on product containing the active ingredients etofenprox and (S)-methoprene. Four days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter applied the product to her 10-pound, 2-year-old, male domestic shorthair cat. The next morning the cat was not eating or drinking, was hiding, and the reporter would find him panting. Two days before the day of initial contact, the reporter found the cat deceased. The reporter was advised this is not an expected reaction to the product and his symptoms might have been from an underlying health condition. A necropsy was offered to find the cause of death, but the reporter had already buried the cat. No follow-up was done. No additional information is available.
