(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
Dog ingested one block at 8:30am cST this morning. About 30 minutes after ingesting the bait the dog vomited one time. There was bait in the vomitus The dog just vomited one more time 30 minutes ago that was blue in color. He thinks most of the bait was recovered after the first episode of vomiting. They have not done any home treatments and the pet has not shown any other symptoms. The caller was advised that because the amount was somewhat consistent, the patient was considered to be at medium risk of developing clinical signs. If signs develop, there is high risk that those signs will be life-threatening. We do not typically see vomiting with this bait. It can take 3-5 days for bait symptoms to begin. We can try and manage vomiting at home, but if it cannot be managed they will need to take him into a clinic. They will want to take the pet into a clinic tomorrow morning to get started on vitamin K1 or monitor with PT tests. Have clinic call once they are there. outcome unknown
