Accidental ingestion/Ingestion accident.
(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
Sometime overnight 2 nights ago the pet may have ingested 1-2 pellets of the bait. The pet vomited around 1000CT-1100CT yesterday. No evidence of the pellets in the vomitus. The pet has been mildly lethargic since yesterday afternoon. The pet is still eating and drinking normally but does not want to play. No bait has been seen in the stool. Caller was advised that because the amount was poorly consistent, the patient was considered to be at low risk of developing clinical signs. If signs develop, there is low risk that those signs will be life-threatening. Concern is mild self-limiting GI upset, if anything. It is unlikely any significant signs would develop this far from the exposure. If the lethargy persists, have the pet examined by a DVM. Gave case and call back numbers. (
