On an unspecified date post application, in 2016, the dog died. No known necropsy was performed. Limited information was obtained at the time of the
communication. Further attempts to gather additional information will not be made due to the sensitive nature of the communication. The reporting party contacted Bayer Animal Health to report an adverse event on another pet and not to report the death of this animal.

Mort
19. Donner des renseignements additionnels ici
Death is not expected following appropriate topical product application as inconsistent with products pharmacological profile. Oral exposure to the collar is not
expected to cause death either. An overdose of 5 collars around the neck was investigated in adult cats and dogs for an 8 months period and in 10 week old kittens and 7 week old puppies for a 6 months period without causing serious signs. Affected animal was geriatric and suffered from diabetes mellitus. Further, the intent of the call was to report adverse event in another animal and not to report death of this animal. Considering all these aspects, although necropsy was not performed and time to onset was unknown, product relation was deemed unlikely.
