2/14/2014 A veterinarian called to report that had a dog in her clinic that ingested an unknown amount of rodenticide two days ago and today became symptomatic. The dog is very lethargic, bleeding from the tip of the tongue, gums are slightly pale, and there is mild petechiation on the lower eyelids. Per the pet owner, the dog may have eaten the same rodenticide three weeks ago. Three blocks of product were placed in a shop by the shop owner. The next day the chunks were gone but it is unknown how many of those chunks, if any, were ingested by the dog. The dog did not have veterinary attention or any treatments following the first possible ingestion.
