The APSS veterinarian stated that the substance was not considered to be related to causing the clinical situation. On September 19, 2014 the APSS technician called the owner to follow up the case. The owner stated the dog had died on September 17, 2014 at the veterinary clinic. The attending veterinarian told the owner it was from kidney failure. The owner stated he did not think it was from the product as the pet had pre-existing health conditions. The owner declined speaking with an APSS veterinarian. A necropsy was not available.
