Caller says that her husband sprayed the potatoes with Malathion and it killed the potato plants. She is wondering if the potatoes are edible? Caller says that her husband admits that he did not read the directions closely. Caller says that they did not wear protective clothing when applying. She feels that the wind may have blown the product back on them that day. He used for 2 hours on the day of application. They usually apply the powder but when went to purchase it the seller asked them if they had a sprayer and gave them this version. htey were both sick for about 4 days. They started to feel better on Sunday. Health History: She is in GH. Spouse has a h/o prostate Cancer and is on hormone shots and went to see his doctor yesterday for a battery of tests. He is also on heart medications. Additional information: Her husband got back from England from the (date) of June and he was not feeling well and has/had not been since then. The doctors - they are going to do testing to see what is going on. He could have picked up a bug/germ in England. Went to the doctor yesterday. If persisting sx seek medical treatment. Would recommend you contacting Customer Service for more detailed on product application information and whether the potatoes are any good.
