(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
The caller's neighbor sprayed this product on 5/12 around 1000CST. The owner waited in the house for at least one hour before going outside. It is possible that the product got onto the callers deck and lawn. The caller could see stains from the spray for about 4 days until it rained. The pet went into the yard around 1100CST the same day it was sprayed. When the owner went outside the yard was wet with the product and had a strong smell. The owner brought the pet's back in quickly. The pet is normally kept inside mostly. The pet has a history of licking her paws. She is not sure if the pet was exposed to the product or not. On 5/14 the pet stopped eating normally and had lower energy than normal. The pet was not passing stools normally. The pet would sometimes eat treats. The pet started vomiting and retching on 5/16. The owner wound find vomit when she got home. The pet was whining last night and her stomach was making sounds last night. The pet was taken into the DVM today. The DVM did a radiograph and there is a large amount of gas in the pet's GI tract. The pet was started on medications and given an injection. The owner was advised that the symptoms the pet developed are not likely related to the product. This product can cause mild GI upset. Generally the symptoms are seen the same day of the exposure. The DVM can call with any questions or concerns. On May 20th, a staff member calling from rdvm. the animal is still not feeling well. Really need to do diagnostic work up. She specifically asked if there could be enough residue remaining on lawn to provide ongoing exposure. That is very unlikely; the rain has washed the sulphur staining away, and even initial signs not really very consistent. On May 22nd Dog is still not doing well. Has rained since application so no possibility for repeat exposure. Due to duration of signs, need to rule out other cause.
