1-37425103 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicated that her three dogs were exposed to an insecticidal spot-on product containing the active ingredients permethrin and methoprene. The reporter no longer had the product package and could not provide the bar code number or the registration number for the product. The reporter provided the name of the product from memory. The reporter indicates that thirty days prior to initial contact with the registrant the reporter applied the product to her 9-year-old, 25 pound, female mixed breed dog (Subform III #1), to her 6-year-old, 10 pound, male mixed breed dog (Subform III #2) and to her 7-month-old, 6 pound, female Chihuahua (Subform III #3). Three days later the reporter noted that her 9-year-old dog was not acting right. She brought the dog inside but the dog died at home, later that night. Around the same time she noticed that both of her other dogs were lethargic, vomiting and anorexic. Four days after product application these 2 dogs were brought to the veterinarian. The veterinarian recommended bathing the dogs which the reporter did but the following morning the reporters 6-year-old dog was found dead. At the time of the initial call the reporter indicated that her 7-month-old dog was back to normal. No further information is available.
