(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
On March 21, 2012, a couple of days after the owner applied the product to the dog, he noticed that the dog was symptomatic. On March 25, 2012 the dog had recovered. On April 22, 2012, a day after the owner applied the product for a second time, he observed that the dog once again was symptomatic. On the morning of April 24, 2012 the owner observed that the dog began shaking. Later that day, the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS veterinarian asked the owner to obtain additional information to confirm the identity of the product. The APSS veterinarian also recommended that the owner discontinue product usage; bathe the dog with liquid dish washing detergent (LDWD), lather, rinse, and repeat; take the dog to the veterinarian; have the veterinarian call for information; consult with the veterinarian about flea and tick control options; and call back with questions. The APSS veterinarian referred the owner to the product manufacturer to discuss reimbursement.
Mineure
On April 30, 2012 the owner called the APSS to update the case. The owner stated that on an unknown date he returned to the store where he purchased the product and confirmed the name. The owner also stated that on an unknown date he bathed the dog with LDWD as directed, and that about four days after the dog's signs began he had fully recovered. The owner also wanted to discuss reimbursement, and the APSS veterinarian referred him to the product manufacturer.
