(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
1 30775716 The reporter, a pet owner, indicates her animals were exposed to an insecticidal product containing the active ingredient methoprene. The reporter indicated she applied the product to her three cats the night prior to her initial contact with the registrant. The reporter indicates her female (Subform III, #1) cat had developed irritation at the application site and had difficulty walking. Her male cat (Subform III, #2) was observed vocalizing, not acting like himself, and lethargic. She had one additional male cat (Subform III, #3) which was observed scratching, aggressing, and with a circle on its back. The caller did not clarify what was meant by circle on its back. The caller/reporter was agitated on the call she was unable to accurately relay detail beyond what was collected provided here. The reporter was advised the signs described were inconsistent with the profile of the active ingredient or the finished product. She was advised to bathe her animals with a non insecticidal shampoo and seek immediate veterinary care. The caller was not reached for follow up. No further information is available.
