On August 31, 2011 the owner contacted the Animal Product Safety Service (APSS) to obtain help. The APSS veterinarian stated that generalized pruritus and alopecia were more consistent with a flea infestation than with a reaction to the product. The APSS technician provided information about treating the environment and recommended that the owner call back with questions.
