(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
Dog has been exposed to Grub Out, owner doesn't know how much was ingested. Applied in back yard last thursday, owners kept him away for about 20 24hrs, and then dog had access to the back yard. Product could have still been there, may have walked on it, may have licked paws. Around Sunday the dog began experiencing loss of appetite, and was lethargic. Also Raid Ant and Spider killer was used. Called was advised that ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, pinpoint pupils, blurred vision, profuse sweating, salivation, tremor and nervous systems symptoms. This product contains methyl carbamate insecticide, which is a cholinesterase inhibitor. Overexposure to this substance may cause toxic signs and symptoms due to stimulation of the cholinergic nervous system. These effects of overexposure are spontaneously and rapidly reversible. Would consider exploring other causes as well, because the timing of when the sx's developed in relation to the exposure does not make too much sense typically we would begin seeing sx's much sooner after exposure, not so delayed so something else may be going on. Final outcome unknown
