Bentley was outside about 8pm ET last night in the area where the product had been spread. The product was coated on the pavement where the ants had been seen. Later that night owner noticed Benley was not eating and was sleeping a lot. Signs have continued through today. Owner added that Bentley has been licking things a lot today and was stumbling a little once when waking up. The owner was advised that Carbaryl is a carbamate insecticide with a wide margin of safety. Found in flea powders and collars labeled for use on dogs and cats. Powder is often irritating to stomach if groomed. Most likely to see mild self-limiting GI upset from grooming. Clinical signs of toxicity are SLUDDE signs: drooling, v/d, tremors, seziures, dyspnea, bradycardia. Outcome unknown
