(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
The owner stated that the dog had vomited, she also stated that she gave Benedryl and that the dog made a full recovery. The time entered for recovery is estimated. The dog ingested about 1 tbsp of product between 11:30am -6pm MST. 30 min ago the owner noticed that the dog is trembling. The caller was advised to take the animal into the DVM and have them call in for case review. At 6:37 the case was reviewed with a technician. Carbaryl, at 5%, is commonly used on animals. Certainly at toxic amounts, may see classic SLUDDE signs (muscarinic and nicotinic) but 1 tbsp should not be a problem for this sized dog. Start with physical exam; current signs may be due to other causes. Call back as needed. Dog is still at home as owner wanted staff to call first
