(p.ex. description des symptômes tels que la fréquence et la gravité
1-18893567: A reporter (dog owner) called on 06/20/2009 to report the possible exposure of 2 dogs to an herbicide containing the active ingredient Acetic Acid. According to the reporter, the lawn had been treated with the product on 06/15/2009 or 06/16/2009. The product was allowed to dry completely before the dogs were allowed on the treated area. The only exposure would have been walking on the treated grass or possibly ingesting treated grass. Dog #1 (1st Subform III) was lethargic and not drinking on the day of the report. Dog #2 (2nd Subform III) had been having diarrhea for the past day. The reporter was advised that ingestion of large quantities of wet product may result in gastrointestinal irritation. Exposure to dry product is not expected to result in the signs described. A recommendation was made to have the dogs evaluated by a veterinarian if the signs persist. Several attempts at follow up were unsuccessful. No further information was obtained.
