12/24/2007 1:01:21 PMThe caller admits to spreading the product throughout his barn (tossing the pellets into stalls and placing them under stall mats) within the past 1-2 days. During this time, he suspects his dog may have ingested a very small amt (less than 60 pellets). He is calling to report that his dog vomited a milky colored substance, is acting lethargic, and seems unable to walk. He firmly denies that the dog could have had any access to the product more than 24 hours prior to this call and denies the use of any other products on his farm in recent days. The caller did contact his veterinarian and was told to bring the dog into the clinic the following morning. The dog died at home during the night and the caller reports seeing a small amount of bleeding around the dog¿s gums just prior to death. The body was buried on-site; no diagnostic testing, medical evaluation, or necropsy was performed.
