10/22/2007 1:17:18 PMThe pest control operator (caller) received a message from his client stating that her dog had died following the application of this rodenticide. The caller recalls placing this product in locked boxes on the client¿s premises. The caller also noted that there was a packet (unknown size) of D-Con in the garage (that the dog, presumably, had access to). The caller does not know the age, breed, weight, or medical history of the dog. Nor does he know the cause of death, any symptoms which presented prior to death, or whether or not the dog was evaluated by a veterinarian before or after death. Finally, there is no information available regarding the time span between the placement of the product and the dog¿s death or whether or not there was any direct contact between the dog and the product. Given the immense lack of information regarding the dog, symptoms, and relationship surrounding the scenario, it is not possible to determine whether or not this product contributed to the dog¿s death.
