5/29/2007 9:32:38 AMCaller reported that he was outside in the garage with his dog and noticed her playing a box of product. Most of the product is there but the caller is not sure how much the dog ate. Vomiting was induced using hydrogen peroxide and product was seen in the emesis. Due to the small size of the dog and the presence of bait in emesis, I recommend you take your dog to the veterinarian immediately. The product is a long-acting anticoagulant and an antidote is available. Follow up on 6/29/2007 10:57:39 AM: The pet owner stated that the dog died two days after the call. She stated that her husband induced vomiting in the dog and they thought that he had gotten most of the rodenticide out. The dog was never taken to the veterinarian as instructed. The dog remained asymptomatic for two and then passed away during the night.
