An increase in germ cell (testicular) degeneration (minimal) and an increase interstitial (Leydig) cell (minimal to mild) was observed at 1.1 and 11 mg/L. Germ cell degeneration in the testes of male fish is a non-specific finding, and causes may include treatment-induced behavioral or physiological stress, testicular cytotoxicity, or endocrine hormone perturbation.
