On 14 Mar 2024, a clinic staff member contacted Elanco to report an adverse reaction with K9 Advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen). On 06 Mar 2024, the pet owner applied 1 tube of K9 Advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) to a dog.

On 07 Mar 2024, the 5-year-old, 9.7 kilogram, neutered male, miniature poodle, who has a history of weakness of the hips, developed a decreased appetite, was agitated, and was generally uncomfortable (discomfort). On 08 Mar 2024, the pet owner reported the dog had spasms and was ataxic. On 08 Mar 2024, the pet owner bathed the dog with dish soap. On 09Mar2024 the dog was seen by the veterinarian, the physical exam was normal, and the dog was considered recovered. The veterinarian prescribed Methocarbamol.
