On 15Mar2024, a pet owner contacted Elanco to report an an adverse reaction involving K9 advantix II pipette size unknown (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen). On an unknown day in March 2024, the pet owner applied 1 tube of K9 advantix II pipette size unknown (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) to a dog. On 16Mar2024 the veterinarian applied one tube of of K9 advantix II pipette size unknown (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) to the dog.

On an unknown date, 2 hours after the first application of K9 Advantix II, the 6-year-old, 28.63-kgs, neutered female, unspecified collie dog, that was positive for the MDR1 (ABCB1) mutation, developed application site hair loss. The pet owner immediately washed the application site with dish soap. The outcome of the reaction is unknown.
