Date 21-DEC-09

2. a) Is an extension needed to translate the document?

No

3. Type of incident identified in the study

Increased health or environmental risk

In a vegetative vigor study, BYF 14182 FS 50G was applied to various crop plants at a rate of 125 g/ha, which converts to 0.11 lb/A. At this application, it was observed that the shoot dry weight statistically decreased by 26.3% in soybeans (Pairwise Mann-Whitney-U-test, one sided smaller; p a 0.05). There was no differences in shoot dry weight that reached or exceeded a 50% difference from controls. No adverse effects on survival or phytotoxicity were observed in any species tested.
