9/21/2023 Caller states that on 17Sept2023 he sprayed OFF! Deep Woods 3 Insect Repellent, 230g [Canada] on his pet's back while they were camping. Caller does not believe that the dog ingested any of the product while it was wet, but is not 100 percent sure. Per the customer service agent, caller did not have the product as he threw it away, although product described best matches this product. Dog was not eating or drinking, was lethargic, and had a bloated stomach which started 18Sept 2023. Dog is at its regular veterinarian currently being hospitalized, diagnosed with pancreatitis, on intravenous fluids and getting started on antibiotics. 9/22/2023 Callback to pet owner. Caller states that the pet is still hospitalized and being treated. Pet is gradually improving, but not back to normal. No further information is available.
