On 16-Jun-2023 a pet owner contacted Elanco to report an adverse event regarding K9 advantix II Small Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) concerning a dog. On 13-Jun-2023, a dog was administered 1 tube of K9 advantix II Small Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the owner. It should be noted this is considered under-dosing for this dogs weight.

On 14-Jun-2023, the 3 year old, approximately 5.5 kg, neutered, male, Toy Poodle/Bichon Frise crossbred dog, in unknown condition, with skin and GI sensitivity concomitant medical conditions, appeared to be agitated, itchy all over, whiny and had warm skin at the application site. On 15-Jun-2023 the owner administered children's diphenhydramine in the evening which helped the dog sleep. On 16-Jun-2023 the dog stopped whining but remained agitated, itchy and warm at the application site.
