On 08-Jun-2023, a veterinary clinic staff member contacted Elanco regarding a possible adverse event to Advantage Multi 20 (Imidacloprid, Moxidectin) and K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) in a dog. On 26-May-2023 a dog was administered 1 tube of K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the attending vet. On 06-Jun-2023, the dog was administered 1 tube of Advantage Multi 20 (Imidacloprid, Moxidectin) orally by the owner.

On 06-Jun-2023, the 0.42 year old, 7.6 kg, intact, male, Cockapoo dog, in good condition, developed vomiting, shaking, weak legs and mucous diarrhea. He was taken to an after hours veterinarian and the reporter was unsure what the examination findings were and the dog was treated with maropitant. On 08-Jun-2023 the signs of shaking, vomiting and weak legs had resolved. The mucous diarrhoea is on going.
