On 29 Jun 2023, the veterinary technician contacted Elanco to report an adverse event in dog that had been treated topically with Advantage Multi 55 (Imidacloprid, Moxidectin) and K9 advantix II Large Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen). On 3 May 2023, the patient was dosed topically with 1 tube of K9 advantix II. On 17 May 2023, the patient was dosed topically with Advantage Multi. On 3 Jun 2023, the patient was dosed topically with 1 tube of K9 advantix II. On 17 Jun 2023, the patient was dosed topically with Advantage Multi.

On 21 May 2023, the 1 year old, 19.5 kg, neutered female, Standard Poodle with no prior medical history or other concomitant medication, and was in good condition, experienced diarrhea that resolved after 3 days. On 21 Jun 2023, the patient experienced diarrhea. On 24 Jun 2023, the diarrhea had resolved with probiotics and gastrointestinal food. No veterinary exam had been done.
