On 28-Jun-2023, a clinic staff member contacted Elanco regarding a possible adverse reaction to K9 advantix II pipette size unknown (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen). On 13-Jun-2023, the pet owner applied the product to the dog. When the product was applied it dripped onto the dog's left shoulder.

On 13-Jun-2023, 4 hours after application, the 2 year old, 34.4kg, neutered, male, Old English Sheep Dog, developed generalized pruritus. On 14-Jun-2023 the dog developed a lesion on his left shoulder where the product had dripped. On 20-Jun-2023 the dog was seen by the veterinarian and was prescribed Cephalexin and Prednisone. On 28-Jun-2023 the dog had recovered.
