On 25-Oct-2022, the pet owner contacted Elanco and reported the following adverse event to Advantage II Large Cat (Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) concerning a cat. On 25-Oct-2022, the cat was administered 1 tube of Advantage II Large Cat (Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the owner.

On 25 Oct 2022, immediately after application of Advantage II large cat, the 9 year old, 9.525 kg, neutered, female, Domestic Shorthair cat, in unknown condition, with concomitant medical conditions of food allergies, developed hypersalivation (coded as salivating excessively). Approximately 30 minutes post application, the cat recovered without medical intervention.
