On 17-Sep-2022 a pet owner contacted Elanco to report a possible adverse event regarding Advantage II Small Dog (Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) concerning a dog. On 15-Sep-2022, the dog was administered 1 tube of Advantage II Small Dog (Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) via the topical route by the animal owner.

On 16-Sep-2022 the 5 year old, approximately 4.1 kg, intact, male, Chihuahua dog, in unknown condition, with a concomitant medical condition of fleas, developed erythema on abdomen which spread, was lethargic and anorexic. On 16-Sep-2022 the dog was bathed of liquid dish soap by the animal owner. Outcome is unknown.
