On 15-Jun-2022 a veterinary clinic contacted Elanco to report a possible adverse event regarding K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) concerning a dog. On 09-Jun-2022, a dog was administered 1 tube of K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the owner along the dorsal midline.

On 10-Jun-2022 12 hours after the application the 7 year old, 8.5 kg, neutered, female, Highland White Terrier dog in good condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, began rubbing the application site, developed twitching and erythema at the application site. On 13-Jun-2022 the dog recovered.
