On 05-May-2022 an RVT contacted Elanco to report a possible adverse event regarding K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) concerning a dog. On 24-Apr-2021, a dog was administered tube of K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) topically by the owner in 1 spot along the dorsal midline. On 24-May-2021 the owner applied K9 advantix II Medium Dog (Permethrin, Imidacloprid, Pyriproxyfen) with Vitamin E oil topically micro dosing from the same tube over a period of unknown period of days.

On 24-Apr-2021 immediately after application the 9.5 year old, 4.9 kg, neutered, female, Yorkshire Terrier x Poodle dog, in unknown condition, with unknown concomitant medical conditions, became itchy and skin was irritated. Owner applied vit E oil.
On 28-Apr-2021 the dog recovered.
An unknown time after the 24-May-2021 application, the dog became itchy even with Vit E oil. The owner stopped using K9 advantix II in 2021. On an unknown date, the dog recovered.
