2021SCUS00026701 - The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredients pyrethrins and sulfur. An unknown number of days before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated they applied the pesticide to trees around their home and did not allow their female Yorkshire Terrier of unknown age and weight around the trees until the pesticide had dried. On the day of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog started breathing heavily so was brought to a veterinarian where she died. The reporter stated the dog had previously been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension and collapsing trachea. No additional information was available.
