2021SCCA00013958 -The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredient iron(present as FEHEDTA). Approximately one week before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter indicated their 7.24-kilogram, 14-year-old, male, mixed-breed dog might have ingested some of the pesticide, but an actual exposure was not witnessed. Five days before the day of initial contact, the reporter stated the dog started experiencing vomiting and diarrhea. One day before the day of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog was presented to their veterinarian for treatment because of continued symptoms. The reporter was advised to continue working with their veterinarian, but the described potential exposure was not anticipated to cause a toxicity and other potential causes should be considered. No additional information is available.
