Death

19. Provide supplemental information here

N - Unlikely Death is not expected after appropriate topical product application. Sign is inconsistent with pharmaco-toxicological product profile and experience. Product has wide margin of safety. Oral LD50 in rat is 642 mg/kg BW. 24-fold overdosage tolerated by cats without showing any side effect. Reported trauma (hit by a car) is unexpected. Reported death of the cat is likely associated with hit by a car. Additionally, intent of the call was to inquire about product use in general and not to report this event. Time to onset is unknown though. Overall, a product relation for the case is considered unlikely.
