The objective of this study was to determine whether or not breakdown or reaction products could arise from Carfentrazone-ethyl residues in the raw commodities during processing. Two major transformation products (10 % applied radioactivity = AR) were detected and identified under the conditions of sterilisation for both labels: F8426-chloropropionicacid (MH5), and F8426-deschloro-hydroxy-propionic acid (IN-XNX51-000, MH6).
