(eg. description of the frequency and severity of the symptoms
On 05-Nov-2020, a 0.58 year old, Maine Coon crossbred, female cat, of unknown weight and reproductive status, in unknown condition, with no known concomitant medical conditions, was administered 0.25 tube of Hartz UltraGuard Pro Flea and Tick Drops for Dogs Over 30 lbs via the topical route by the animal owner. This was an off label use due to species. Approximately 1 hour post administration, the cat exhibited hiding and hind leg twitching. The animal owner rinsed the cat with water and the clinical signs continued. Product removal using liquid dish soap and veterinary evaluation was recommended. On 10-Nov-2020, the animal owner called back and stated that the cat exhibited inaccuracy when jumping but the symptoms of hiding and hind leg twitching had been improving without medical intervention. No further information was received.
