On 11-Aug-2020, a 12 year old, 4.54 kilogram, neutered, female, Domestic Longhair cat, in unknown condition, with concomitant medical condition of fleas, was administered unknown amount of Hartz UltraGuard OneSpot Flea and Tick Cat Drops (S Methoprene) via the topical route by the animal owner. The product was used extra label since only a partial tube was applied. Approximately 1 hour post application, the cat exhibited emesis 3 times and stopped. Approximately 6 hour post application, the animal owner applied a moistened towel at the area of application. On 12-Aug-2020, the cat exhibited lethargy and adipsia. The cat was not evaluated by a veterinarian, no treatments were performed and the lethargy and adipsia continued. No further information was received.
