2021SCCA00007423 -The reporter, a pet owner, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active ingredient corn gluten meal. Three weeks before the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter applied the product to his lawn. Two weeks before the day of initial contact, the reporter allowed his 40-pound, 6-month-old, male Blue Heeler mix dog on the treated lawn where the dog chewed on the grass. On the day of initial contact with the registrant, the dogs nose was running and he had watery eyes. The reporter was advised the product has a low level of toxicity and to seek veterinary care should the symptoms persist. No additional information is available.
