Subform VII: Scientific Study
1. Study Reference
Title Fluopyram: Aerobic Degradation and Determination of BCS-AA10065 andTrifluoroacetic Acid (TFA) in 4 Soils
Date 28-JAN-21
2. a) Is an extension needed to translate the document?
No
3. Type of incident identified in the study
Presence of a component or derivitive
4. Describe the incident identified in the study (e.g. study demonstrates an increased risk to non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma after exposure to pesticide X)
The route and rate of degradation of [phenyl-UL-14C] fluopyram were studied in four German soils kept under aerobic conditions in the laboratory for 120 days in the dark at 19.2C and 54.4% of the maximum water holding capacity. A new analytical methodology was used to measure trifluoracetic acid. The maximum amount of trifluoroacetic acid was 3.1%, 4.5%, 6.9% and 7.4% of the applied fluopyram in the four soils. Fluopyram-7-hydroxy (BCS-AA10065) was also measured with maximum amounts (4.3% of applied fluopyram) similar to previously reported. Kinetic analysis showed 50% degradation times (DT50) for fluopyram of 233, 288, 332 and 382 days for the 4 soils (within range of previously submitted studies).
5. a) Was the study discontinued before completion?
No
5. b) Provide the reason for discontinuation
6. If the study is ongoing, what is the expected completion date?
For Registrant use only
7. Provide supplemental information here
