1-62781761 - The reporter, veterinarian, indicates an exposure to a pesticide containing the active bromethalin. On the day of initial contact with the registrant, the reporter stated a 7-pound, 6-month-old, male, mixed breed dog had ingested a large amount of the pesticide approximately 1 day before the day of initial contact and was presented to her clinic for not eating. The reporter was advised the dog likely ingested a toxic amount and was provided with treatment recommendations. On follow-up call one day after the day of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog had developed seizures, lethargy, drooling, proprioceptive deficits, decreased gag reflex, decreased menace response, muscle weakness, ataxia, and hypothermia. The reporter was advised to treat symptomatically, but the dog真真真s prognosis was grave. Two days after the day of initial contact, the reporter indicated the dog真真真s condition had progressively worsened.
